Bitik is a cooperative that takes its name from the Turkic word "bitik" (book).
What is a Cooperative?
A cooperative is an alternative structure to a company that aims to benefit society before profit maximization, is managed democratically, and has a more egalitarian income distribution. In our cooperative, income distribution is transparently disclosed, and we aim to donate a portion of the incoming revenue to those in need through direct or indirect means.
Our books are reviewed by editors before being published and edited. Books that do not contribute to society or contain sexual content are not accepted on our platform.
